Choosing Pillowcases for a Guest Room

Choosing Pillowcases for a Guest Room

Start with the pillows and bedding already in the guest room. Measure the pillows, check their care labels and choose covers that fit. Keep a spare clean set where you can find it between visits.

Match cover and pillow dimensions

A 20 x 30 inch Standard/Queen pillowcase and an 18 x 18 inch Throw cover fit different pillows. Check the exact listing for the size and whether an insert is included. Mattress dimensions do not tell you the pillow size.

Choose a design that works with the room

Pick one color or theme from the existing bedding. A printed message can be a small addition to a plain bed; it does not require replacing the whole set. Keep additional pillows out of the way if guests prefer a simpler setup.

Check material and care before buying

Oh, Susannah’s signature pillowcase fabric is 120 GSM polyester microfiber. The blanks are made in China and printed to order in North Carolina. The pillowcases are machine washable; follow the item’s care label.

For a rental or several rooms

Count the pillows in each size before ordering. Check how the covers fit into your existing laundry routine. Contact the store about a specific custom request before assuming custom names, logos or designs are available.
